Friday, March 30, 2018

You’re invited to the 9th annual “What’s So Good About Good Friday?” art show on Good Friday, March 30, 2018 at Second Presbyterian Church in downtown Bloomington.

    • Art will be on display from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Good Friday, March 30, 2018. Join the artists from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. for a reception with light refreshments.
    • Second Presbyterian Church invites you to worship at the Good Friday Tenebrae service to follow the reception at 7:30 p.m.
    • Artwork will also be on display for Easter weekend services and Monday’s Bible Study Fellowship group. The art will remain at Second Presbyterian Church until pick up on Tuesday, April 3.

This art show centers on the power of Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and resurrection to accomplish something beautiful.

“…the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ This is my message for you.” (Matthew 28: 5-7)
